Less known, but also very important within the context of Chinese Medicine as a whole medical system are: tuina massage, cupping, moxibustion (heat treatment with a slow burning herb - mugwort), herbal medicine, medical qigong, dietary therapy, medical exercise (Qi Gong, Tai Chi) and lifestyle advice.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the recognised Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) by the World Health Organization (WHO).
